1. General Overview [gnov]
The game is comprised mostly of dungeon exploration, followed by a boss or two,
then talking to the students before heading off to your next dungeon. The game
isn't difficult from the get-go, especially if you set the difficulty rating to
easy.
There have been some changes between the previous game and this game, so I will
go over them so that no one is left in the dark.

Changes:
- Each party member now has his/her own deck of 20 cards. How that deck is
comprised is up to you, though it's best to not mix cards randomly and hope
for the best. It's better for each member of your party to have individual
roles, usually focused around their own character cards.
- Some new characters are with you, such as Yue and Makie. The others are
(unconfirmed) the same as before, with the same AP and DP and Growth Rates.
- The cards are different. No more Defend All cards, as your card selection
when defending lasts throughout that round, decreasing in DP by the opponent's
AP unless its effect prevents that.
- Clones are now more powerful, but cannot avoid Negi's Flans Exarmatio [Wind
Disarmament] (no longer in the menu) and are instantly defeated by the spell.
Clones of characters you have in your party do not show up when battling.
- Support Cards now take up a person's turn rather than being used at the start
of the battle. Also, some cards can be used during Enemy Phase that couldn't
be used in like form before.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Card Explanations [crds]
Each card has an AP (Attack Power), and a DP (Defence Power). AP is colored
blue, DP is colored red. There is also a number at the top right of the card.
That is the card's GP (Gauge Points). As long as the card is played
successfully, you will get/lose the amount of GP shown.
The picture on the card determines what type it is. There are Red Sword cards
and those are your Basic Attack Cards. There are Green Shield cards and those
are your Basic Defence Cards. There are Purple Crossed-Swords cards and those
are your Linking Attack Cards (explained later).
If your AP is higher than your opponent's DP, you break his card.
If your AP is lower or the same as your opponent's DP, your card is broken,
unless you use a Guard Break card, which still connects for a weaker damage if
successfully blocked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you select New Game and a Save Slot, the game begins:
4. Walkthrough [wlkt]
You are presented with a little introduction involving Kamo, Negi, Asuna, and
Konoka. Following their chat, you are taken to a map with an abandoned school-
house. Asuna meets up with Negi, Konoka enters in the schoolhouse rather
quickly, Setsuna joins up with you, and Evangeline shows up to give you a
tutorial of the card system (if you want to take it; if not, just select the
second option).
---Tutorial #1---
This is where you learn how to attack and defend using the cards. Once
Evangeline finishes explaining your Player Phase and AP/DP, you are given the 5
cards you get for use from a pre-constructed deck and you can face off against
your opponent, a Slime.
Slime: 40
Negi: 70
All you have are five 400/200 cards, so select one and select the slime. The
slime will use a 200 DP card, so your card will break the slime's, and you'll
do damage.
Slime: 23 (-17)
Evangeline will now explain the Enemy Phase and the Menu options. You will
have four 400/200 cards, so you have to select one (or use the Menu option
NEXT to pass). Either way, the Slime will use a 300 AP card, so if you played
a card, it will break you. Regardless, it will hit you.
Negi: 70 (-0)
Evangeline will now explain the GP system and what happens if you select a
card that will be improperly played (lack of GP, for example). It will now
switch to your turn.
The Battle Music finally comes on, and if you've played the previous game, you
can choose which one you like better. As long as you get how to use the
cards, the tutorial's not hard. Your cards now are from your own deck, and is
restored to 5 held. Every two phases, your cards are brought back to 5.
Finish up the Slime for 0 exp, and you can enter in.
-End Tutorial #1-

hallways. Enter the first door.
- Go around the room to the next chest. You can now trigger the map in the
rooms. Go the the room's left exit.
- Keep going to the left, ignoring the bathrooms at the bottom, and enter the

- The next two doors have nothing in it, so ignore them.
!!!WARNING!!!
On entering the last door, you will strike a conversation with Konoka, who will
take Setsuna away from your party. If you want to level up, now's the time.
The enemies are harder when it's two members, not three.
!!!WARNING!!!
- Once you feel you've leveled up enough, enter, and watch the scene. Take the
contents of the chest, flip the switch, and exit.
NOTE:
Don't forget to exit the building and go back to the world map if ever you feel
your HP on either character is low (or non-existant).
- Head up to the 2nd Floor. Take the chest onscreen, then move inside the
room. Take the left exit.
- Take the first door on the bottom. Press the switch there, then leave.

There have been many mixed theories about this battle, including who to use
Flans Exarmatio on. However, I found that the clones appear if you don't have
the girl in your party, so it doesn't really matter. In fact, if you managed
to get a second Flans Exarmatio card, use them both! Hey, you could go just
pawning cards from the treasure chests once you've taken everything until
you have two...but unless you like to powerlevel, it's not something you'll
enjoy.
NOTES:
Konoka and Setsuna both appear to have two #080 cards. Those will put a damper
on your team. I suggest just going for Setsuna since Konoka has a low AP and
higher than average DP, while Setsuna has a high AP and average DP.

I used Negi as more of a defender than Asuna, and Asuna more of an attacker
than Negi. Since there are no heal cards, the focus is attack, defend,
attack, defend, and so on. It's basically a Berserker technique, but it's
alright since I have my party leveled high. If you do have low levels, go for
the Flans Exarmatio and use it on Setsuna, while using your attack cards to go
for Konoka. Don't forget some heal cards too.

Okay, now you have a chance to talk to people. If you can read Japanese, you
might be interested to what each person has to say. If they aren't a trigger
for the next stage, you can get two responses from each of them.
I'll give a list of who's where and what cards, if any, they give. The girls
are listed by how close each one is to you. The closer to the top of
the list, the closest they are compared to everyone else.

Eventually, you end up at the Forest Entrance, where Evangeline's voice comes
to give you another tutorial (if you choose not to skip it, that is).
---Tutorial #2---
This is where you learn about Support Cards. Support Cards (see Changes) are
different from before, which explains why you have two party members in this
tutorial.
Slime (100)
Negi (???) Asuna (???)
Evangeline then explains what Support Cards can do, and then you're off to the
battle. Since it's Battle Music already, I can't tell you exactly what to do,
since your cards are random-ish.
Play around with the Blue Support Cards, and decide whether you like them or
not. If you do, don't worry, but if you don't, take them off Yue.

- Your first objective will be to find the map. It's in the chest inside the
first opening.
- Ignore the next opening and cross the bridge. Go into the next opening and
take the chest there.
- Ignore the next opening for now and keep going. Take the treasure chest in
the clearing, then go back to this last ignored opening and go up past the
bridge.
- Take either the bottom or top path, but when the path splits again, take the
middle path to pick up a chest. Afterwards, back up and take the upper path,
going around the rocks to continue on, so you're heading right.
- Keep going past the bridge to the clearing. Go right, take the chest, then
head back and go up.
- Take the path to the next split road. Take the lower path and go the the
small clearing there for a chest. Then, go up and take the left branches to
the inner forest.
- Take the map there and exit on the right back to the outer forest.
- Go right and keep on the path until the clearing, where you should pick up
the chest.
- Go back to the path and take the first branch to the inner forest again.
- Follow the path, ignoring the obvious dead end, to the fork in the road.
Take the upper path.
- Keep following the path until you see groups of islands. You must walk
"in the dark" by stumbling around.
- 1st Island is in front of you. 2nd is to your right. 3rd is to your
right. 4th is down and to your right. 5th is up and to your right. 6th is now
to your right.
- 7th is the bridge to your right. 8th is also to your right. 9th is out of
your sight, downwards towards you. 10th is up-right from 9th. 11th is the
chest, up-right again from you. Go back to 10th, and 12th is to your right.
- 13th takes a down, right, then up turn to get to. 14th is directly up, but
15th requires a fun little up-left to get to. So does 16th's right, up, left,
down path. 17th is left, 18th is halfway up through 17th.
- 19th is a little left-up as the bridge, 20th is down then left, 21st is
upwards, 22nd is left and downwards, 23rd is left and upwards, and so is the
24th.
- To get out, follow 24th and go down to 25th and go around to the 26th and
final island.
- Keep following the path until it branches. Take the upper branch, take the
chest there, then follow the left path until you fall into a cave.
- Go left and immediately take the down path. Take the chest there.
- Go right into the clearing, where you'll see a chest. Take it and the chest
directly above it.
- Keep following the path up and make a left turn at the next clearing.
- Push the rock until you're in the next clearing, where you can exit to the
top.
- Keep on going down, past the hole, back to the inner forest.
- Take a right and go up back to the core forest.
- Take the chest there, then head back.
- Go back left, and take the left path this time. Go down instead of left at
the fork.
- Once inside the clearing, go up and left, reaching a path with a chest.
Retrieve the contents, then leave.
- Head back to the hole in the core forest and drop in it.
- Take the bottom right path. Once in the clearing, take a sharp turn up and
take the chest on the path.
- Head back to the clearing and go right, taking the chest along the path to
the outside.
- Take the chest you see, then take the left path to Nodoka. Along the way,
take the lower path for a chest, then resume your path.
- Talk to her to ignite the boss fight.

I didn't change much with Negi: Don't change much of a good thing. (Actually,
I couldn't get more #110 to make the #101, so that's why) Yue changed to being
the slower-leveled attacker, and her stats are decent around this level.
Of course, Konoka's doing what she does best: Heal. The strategy is basically
to have Negi be the intermediary unit (Heal and Damage), one to be the attack
unit (Damage), and either another intermediary or a guard unit (Heal and
Support). I'm not fond of the #078 support cards, so just the heal ones will
do for me. I didn't find any #081 in this playthrough, but if you get some,
up to you if you want a +100 DEF in exchange for a possible ballista hit.
Don't forget to use Flans Exarmatio if you have it in your deck. Just have 2
though, in case one misses.

STAGE B: THE CALM BENEATH THE STORM
Old Schoolhouse:
31. Zazie Rainyday
05. Ako Izumi
Dolphin Pool:
29. Ayaka Yukihiro (Gives Card #038)
13. Konoka Konoe (Trigger #1 for Stage 3)
World Tree:
06. Akira Ookuchi
Park:
09. Misora Kasuga (Gives Card #030)
Tower:
24. Satomi Hakase
10. Chachamaru Karakuri
Forest Entrance:
14. Haruna Saotome
27. Nodoka Miyazaki (Trigger #1 for Stage 3)
When you're done talking, get ready for Stage 3 by talking to Konoka or Nodoka.
Once that's done, head to the Tower for Stage 3.
===============================================================================
To start Stage 3, Chachamaru comes up to you slowly, as if she's hurt. Satomi
comes to check her out, and in the process, you're allowed entry into the
tower...that is, if Evangeline wasn't there. She's here to give you another
tutorial. I recommend you take this one, as you get to experience first-hand
how strong linking cards are.
---Tutorial #3---
Slime (160)
Negi (???) Asuna (???) Konoka (???)
Evangeline this time tells you about linking cards. These cards are special in
that you get boosts to your AP or DP on the card depending on how many linking
cards you use with your teammates.
Try it out, since it's very fun. The only downside is that the cards are
naturally weaker than the normal versions.
The Battle Music starts playing on the first turn, so, once again, I can't
tell you exactly what to do, since your cards are random-ish.
-End Tutorial #3-

I will leave it up to someone else to get a Fusion Card list, but I will show
my Fusion Card Results for people to see. Maybe you might get lucky.
The first card is the first card chosen, and the second second.
