Asked on: 8/21 8:42AMRecently my pokemon were infected by pokerus. I read about pokerus but i don't understand what is EV?? I read that it only helps EV? What is EV?

statusIt`s your pokemon`s stats.IV`s determine how good your pokemon is.
EV stands for "Effort Value." EVs are received when your pokemon fight other pokemon. They determine stat growth.
For every 4 EVs in a stat your pokemon's stat will increase by one when they level up. A pokemon can have a total of 510 EVs and a total of 255 in one stat (however you only need 252 to max the stat).
Different pokemon give different EVs (Zubat gives 1 speed EV, Ninorina gives 2 HP EVs, Charizard gives 3 special attack EVs, etc).
Basically pokerus makes your pokemons' stats grow twice as fast.
