Berries after 100 hour playtime?

My friend is playing Ruby on VBA.

If the in-game clock goes over 100 hours of playtime, then is it still possible to grow berries with the real-time clock?

If you're having problems with your clock, trade in a pokemon from Colosseum. Supposedly, Colosseum can fix this "berry glitch". I dont know if its true. The Colosseum instruction book mentions that it will automatically update the berry program in R/S the first time you connect. I dont know if its true, but Nintendo went to the trouble to put it in the book. Volume 178 of Nintendo Power also mentions it, in the Pokecenter column. I hope this helps.

If the in-game clock dries out, then all time-related events will cease. The in-game clock doesn't keep track of how many hours you play, the game gets that info from someplace else. I am currently playing a Sapphire game with a rattling battery. No timed events, no berry growing capabilities, but you can still play the game and it still keeps track of total game time.

Like the guy above me said yeah trade with Colosseum to fix it. OR you can trade with Leaf Green or Fire Red. Works like a charm!
