Help with RNs and getting Mad Demons to flash colours?

Even when I finish off Mad Demons with the correct Djinn, it doesn't flash colours at some RNs, but at other RNs it does. Why is this so?

Ugh, I don't understand. ><

"The RN is used by the game logic to compute how much greater the elemental power must be." <-- This, I do not understand. >< Is that for it to flash, or for it to not flash? @_@

So if it adds up to 31 RN, it doesn't flash when it dies.
But when it reaches any other RN, it flashes before dying.

Felix and Issac are Masters
Jenna and Mia have 9 Mercury Djinn each.
They attack first.

Turn 1:
Felix uses Death Leap on Mad Demon1!
Issac uses Death Leap on Mad Demon2!
(5 RNs used up)
Jenna and Mia both cast Wish!
(16 + previous 5 RNs = 21 RNs used)

Enemy attacks (1 + 1 = 2. 2 + previous 21 is 23 RNs)

Turn 2 is where the problem begins.

Felix attacks before Issac. If Felix does Death Leap on Mad Demon1, then Issac unleashes any Djinni that uses 3 RNs (2 + Elemental bonus = 3) then the total RNs comes up to 29, and the Mad Demon flashes before dying.

But say if Felix used Shuriken, which will consume 4 RNs instead of 2, that brings the total RN to 31 after the Djinn is unleashed, and then the Mad Demon does not flash before dying. No matter which Mad Demon is targetted to die via the Djinni attack, they do not flash before dying.

Well, yeah.

The elemental power of the adept unleashing the djinni for the felling blow and the elemental resistance of the Mad Demons determine if the Mad Demon will flash. TheScythe (aka Torrent Lord) researched this by stepping through the code and examining variables. The RN is used by the game logic to compute how much greater the elemental power must be.

Answer

The enemies will flash colors regardless of the RN. What determines if the enemy flashes is your character's agility. Perhaps when you unleash a djinn, the character loses the agility boost provided by the djinn (and Jupiter Djinn usually gives the best Agility Boosts); therefore, causing the enemy to not flash.

Answer

Agility? Don't you mean elemental power with the corresponding djinn...that has to total higher then the subtraction of the enemies resistance in that respective element...that determines the flash im sure.

Becuase Mia is slow as hell, but as an angel will Djinni kill (successfully...colours and all) any enemy weak to mercury.
