Amy is just a secret character. Collecting all 7 eneralds with her will provide you with nothing extra. Just bragging rights.

I'm sorry, but you get nothing extra. Just bragging rights, an extra character to play as, and the only ORIGINAL Sonic character you can play as besides Sonic, Tails, and Knucles.
