Best water pokemon for Battle tower?

As a prologue i am really into sweepers.
OK, so i have this Starmie. My starmie(as of now) knows Ice Beam, Surf, Thunderbolt, and recover. Good, except he knows no physic move. My other two pokemon are Metagross, who knows(all are level 50 by the way) metoer mash, take down, hyper beam, and physic. Also got a flygon, who knows dig, flamethrower, crunch, and dragon breath. now my question is this: do I keep my starmie, which has fairly good base stats, or switch to a lanturn which at level 37, has much lower base states than I thought it would, or work my butt off for a feebas and turn that into a milotic? It would also be nice if you could offer advice for the rest of team. Don't be afraid to be really critical, but only if you are Pokemaster. No rookies allowed. I used to be AWESOME at this game, but went out of it for awile, and now I'm returning to it.

Starmie looks fine. Psychic moves on Starmie isn't really necessary; as far as I know, barely anything resists Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. Lanturn with Volt Absorb is one of them, Shedinja is immune due to Wonder Guard.

Metagross: Max out its happiness and put Return over Take Down. Return has more base power, no recoil. Earthquake is a good option over Hyper Beam considering Metagross's high Attack, as well as dealing with Fire, Electric and other Steel-types. Skarmory still poses a (mainly defensive) problem, but I think you have Starmie to deal with that.

Flygon...I'm afraid I've rarely used (or seen) that one, so I can't really help you with that.

Answer

Starmie: your moves are okay because it is so hard to K.O. because it has Recover so it doesn't need psychic moves

Metagross: sorry I haven't evolved my metang yet so I can't help you with this..

Flygon: its your decision which move you will replace for solarbeam because there are many ground-types, water-types and rock-types here so you can teach this move.

when I'm battling here I use:
Flygon: Dig, Solarbeam, Crunch( for psychic types) and Dragonbreath. watch out for ice types when you're using
Flygon because its dragon and ground type. Flygon has lots of resistances like its immune to electric, has levitate skill, a dragon type,

Altaria: Another dragon type. It can use Ice Beam(for flying and ground), Fly , Aerial Ace and Dragon Claw

Magneton: Thunder, Thunder Wave ( for sure paralysis ), Spark and Facade. Its a steel-type so it has a lot of resistances.

Answer

Starmie is one of the best water type sweepers. It's versatile as you already know(can learn a range of attacks), is strong and fast.
