statusThey don't. If you don't fight with them or upgrade them then they won't improve, period.
If you get past the recommended level of the Zoid, it will increase its abilities
EP max? That's the maximum EPs that a Zoid can handle. Ep is used whenever you use weapons or zoid attacks like Bit's Burning Big Bang. This may cause frustration since his EPMax is only ~36 I start a Battle with him and he starts of with about 60 % of his EPMax. Now I recommend raising the GEP of your zoids who are equipped with high EP cost attacks like Blitz Tiger's Lightning attack which costs 28 EPs and you recover aound 6 EP when you attack and double on waiting.
