Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun

His Alpha version appears twice, and only as storyline encounters. First time - in Castillo scenario in Normal mode, second - in the Speaker Comp in Hard mode.

I never encountered Shademan Alpha outside of the storyline encounters . However, after finishing the Django sidequest, I was running around in Undernet 4 and got wasted by Shademan Omega in a random encounter. This happened on normal mode.

Why?

You can only get his chip from his Omega version (which is why I assume you ask) due to the storyline, and you can't usually beat him in the storyline anyway.

FYI, once you've beaten the Django sidequest, you'll see lots of his Omega form. If you beat him, you probably get his chip and, provided neither of you destroyed the GMD in the back of his area, a GigaChip (I still haven't beaten him myself yet, so I'm not entirely sure).
