Drill Dozer
Review by knuclear200x
"Girl power is so cute! Aiyaaaah!"
I've always loved platforms, they're always so creative and innovative in many ways most of the time, this one is one of the most enjoyable, even for a game made by the guys from pokemon, no offense, I do enjoy that series too even if it is annoyingly repetitive and childish to others.
Story: 10/10=5/5
You are Jill, an ordinary school girl who's a part of a gang of thieves called the red dozers. One day, her father, Red Dozer leader Big Boss Doug, is fully injured while trying to protect the family's Red Diamond which has been stolen by a some unknown group. And as the heir to the family business, Jill has decided to take action, with the help of her trusty Drill Dozer, by stealing back what's been stolen.
Audio/Visuals: 10/10=5/5
The music is just so upbeat, not your usual beeps and cheap choreography, and not annoying, nor annoyingly repetitive. There are some nice voice clips in this game, especially Jill's squeaky Japanese action dialogue "Aiyaaaaah!". The graphics are colorful and the animations are pretty sweet, from the cut scenes, to the nicely designed backgrounds, and Jill's pink bouncy cinnamon roll hair.
Game play: 10/10=5/5
The game utilizes the frequent use of the shoulder buttons L and R. In this game, the objective is to drill your way through enemies, walls and switches to get to your main goal. Drilling is used very skillfully and innovatively in this game, as it's not only for breaking things, but reaching certain platforms, knowing when to drill left or right, using it as a motor underwater, and sticking a propeller at the end allowing you to fly like a helicopter! The game can be very challenging as you go further and the bosses will leave you wondering how to beat it, luckily, you have friends who will contact you and leave you tips on how to progress through the levels. This game adds a little extra replay value by adding unlockables by finding hidden treasures. Buy it! This'll be the best (blank) hours of your time!
Overall: 10/10=4/5
