Nicktoons Unite!

"For Diehard fans only!"

Hi, and welcome to my review for Nicktoons Unite! This game features 4 main characters from Nicktoon shows. The characters are: Danny Phantom, Spongebob Squarepants, Jimmy Nuetron, and Timmy Turner.

Graphics : 4/10

The graphics here could have been ok, but their not. It starts out as your normal 2-D side scroller, but then they try to turn it into a 2-D 3-D kinda thing, making the characters try to pop out. Now don't even get me started on the level design. It is so terrible, every level is basically the same except for portal locations, items, and the backround. To finish this part off, their own character models, look barely like anything from the shows.

Audio 6/10

Nothing that special here, folks. We have your average music in a game, with un-average sound affects. I would just turn the volume off because of the terrible sound affects. The music is just a basic track for the level that you are in such as a labratory

Gameplay 3/10

This is where the trouble starts. The gameplay mechanics here are so broken, that i had to force myself to play through this game. You are basically moving through the same maze-like levels, trying to activate different portals, and collecting chips, FOR 13 LEVELS! And if that isn't bad enough, enemies can use their weapons through walls! Now in the game, each character has their own special ability ( Jimmy: Jet pack ect.) but they rarely are put to use. Lastly, you are forced to switch between characters every 5 minutes, do just switch back 2 minutes later!

Rent or Buy Rent

If you are really bored, and have played every game at your local Blockbuster, then maybe consider this. Just do not buy it ( only if your little brother or sister is a diehard fan)
