Mega Man Zero 2
Review by Ultimasaber
"The best Zero game, even better than its sequels"
This is a sequel to MegamanZero. This is better than the rest of the Zero games. It is one of the best games made.
Story 10/10
The story makes alot of sense. It continues the story from Zero 1. Things make alot sense than some of the other games made by Capcom. After Zero ending up in a desert in Zero 1, you would wonder what would happen. It turns out he's been wandering for a year. He finds fighting Neo Arcadia pointless now. He knows he must find Ciel and the Resistance. He then gets attacked by some Neo Arcadian soilders. The story from there on is great. With many complications, the boss is not who you expect.
Gameplay 10/10
The gameplay is alot like the prequel. You have the Saber, Buster, Rod, and Shield. But this time, the rod is very different. The new rod is called the Chain Rod. You can do many things with it. You can swing from ceilings, pull enemies and objects, and just as easily land you in spikes or pits. This makes things more challenging. The cyber-elf system has also been tuned down a little. You don't need as many E-Crystals to feed the elves as you did in Zero 1. Thank god they did that! There are also less levels to power-up in your weapons. Capcom also added in EX-Skills. You need an A or S rank to obtain them. Capcom also added in Forms. Forms can change your abilities to give you certain abilities. Though they aren't too significant, it gives you a challenge trying to qbtain them. Those are the only real changes. Besides those, this is a typical Megaman game. You go through stages and beat the boss.
Graphics 10/10
One Word: Amazing! Every thing is like it is in Zero 1 with a few improvements. The graphics are astonishing for a Gameboy Advance game. You wouldn't expect graphics like these from any other portable game system except the PSP. It isn't as good as the PSP, but the graphics are some of the best! And guess what? You can even chop bosses in half!
Sound 10/10
Same Word: Amazing! The music is excellent! The intro and credits music are great. The tunes are catchy and the sounds are excellent. The tunes are some of the best! There are so many sounds. Many are unique; just for a certain thing.
Replay Ability 9/10
The overall game doesn't last too long. If you want to obtain everything though, you might be playing this for a while. Getting all of the forms, cyber-elves, and EX-Skills takes longer than you think. There is one form that is hardest to get. Let me not spoil what it is.
Difficulty 10/10
This is possibly one of the hardest games ever! It is not as difficult as Zero 1, but it is a very close runner up. If you're looking for a challenge, get this game!
Overall 10/10
This is one of the greatest games yet. Not too many games can beat a game like this. Not too many gamers can beat it either. So, can you beat it? I don't think you can. Ready to prove me wrong?
