Mega Man Zero 3
Review by Ultimasaber
"Easier, but with more improvements"
This is a sequel to Megaman Zero 2. It is pretty much the same, but not entirely. Their are some new things in this game.
Story 10/10
This is a sequel, and sequels pretty much carry on the story. The story is excellent. The twists and turns make you want to know the ending. Two months have passed since Zero 2. Ciel has invented the "Ciel System" which should solve the energy crisis. A strange object lands in Neo Arcadian territory. Zero, Ciel, and some soldiers go investigate. What they find will reveal something about Zero, something in the ending of the game. I don't want to spoil it, so you can find out yourself.
Gameplay 9/10
The controls are the same as the previous game. The new weapon is the "Recoil Rod." It can be useful for many things. The cyber-elf system is still the same. Unfortunately, Capcom dropped the Form System. The EX-Skills are still there and the conditions haven't changed. Capcom has added the "Chip System" where you can equip chips to Zero to enchance his abilities. Capcom dropped the weapon level up system. You start with your weapons fully powered from the start. Capcom also added the data chip system. You collect disks for cyber-elves, equipment chips, and another reason. I'd rather not spoil it. Mini-games were also added. They have no real significance, but are entertaining to play. Besides those, the gameplay is pretty much the same.
Graphics 10/10
Like the previous two games, the graphics are amazing. You wouldn't expect graphics like these from a Gameboy Advance game. Capcom pretty much carried most of the graphics over and added in a few more touches.
Sound 8/10
Unlike Zero 2, this game doesn't have as many catchy tunes. The sounds are excellent, but the tunes could use some improvements. Don't get me wrong, the tunes are okay. They're just not as good as Zero 2.
Replay Ability 9/10
The reply ability is not entirely perfect. Just passing the game doesn't take too long. Though if you want to get all of the disks, EX-Skills and mini-games, you could be playing for a while.
Difficulty 8/10
The new things added in make the game pretty easy. This game is not as hard as Zero 1 and Zero 2, but it is still challenging.
Overall 9/10
Capcom added some things and dropped others. Not everything is for the best, but Capcom is trying. Hopefully, they will make a perfect game.
