Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town

"A short review to one of the best games ever ^_^"

Hey there ^_^ i just decided to make a review since I loved this game. If you'd want to know what this game is really about (without reading through too much) I've put everything down here.

Graphics 9/10
The graphics are really nice! They're very detailed and the characters have many different expressions according to their mood. It's 2D but it's one of the best 2D graphics I've ever seen. The colors and hues give you a really good mood. . .

Story 9/10
Well the story is about a girl from the city (you) trying to find something exciting to do so you find this ad for a farm. You decide to go there and the game begins. You get to meet different people and whatever they think of you actually depends on how you act towards them and events depend on you too. The best thing that can happen to the story is when you get married to a guy and have a kid. I especially loved the times when their heart levels go up and these ' heart events ' occur. I'll get to that later. The only thing I don't like about it is that the story doesn't quite have an end @_@

Gameplay 9/10
I love it. When you play it it actually feels like a second life, and each character has its own soul. Basically you buy seeds and plant them, trying to raise money but it's a LOT more fun than it sounds. . . The best thing about it is when you interact with the other characters and you can get the guys to fall in love with you ^_^ The ' heart events ' are especially nice. You also get to attend these festivals and you could upgrade your home. Buy a kitchen and cook different recipes that you have to unlock. I just hope I knew how I could end the game. . .

Sounds 8/10
There's a different song for each season and a different one for the town and the main menu. One time I was playing too much that the theme song got stuck it my ears and I couldn't sleep though @_@. The rain effects are pretty nice as well as the blizzard. The characters don't talk though like most GBA games but overall the sounds are decent.

Replayability 8/10
Before I played this, I played the Harvest Moon: friends of mineral town first and I've played that twice already. To be honest, I don't think this game ever ends but you can play it over and over to see how your life will turn out when you marry for example the Doctor or Gray. It's up to you if you get tired of your life and you just want to start it all over again.

Rent or Buy?
I suggest you buy it. When you think you got sick of it already, a few months later, you'd be wanting to restart the game and do it all over again. It one of the best games to own.

I think I would've given this a ten if I knew how to end it ^_^' This is one of the BEST games I've played and I'm telling you that you won't regret playing this. Sometimes you'd feel you're actually living in it and it made me really happy so I suggest you buy it. I guess some people don't like it as much as I do since they don't get the actual point of this game. That's the point. This game is made to make you feel happy as you play and meet the characters and living your life. Feel free to message me if you need to know anything ^_^
