Enter the world of tennis with Top Spin 2! You get to play using professional players such as Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, and others. Under “Play Now”, you can use them in exhibition mode to practice or in tournaments to somewhat practice for the career mode slightly more effectively than in exhibition mode. You can also play tournament mode or exhibition mode against your friends with a game link cable. Master all the different kinds of shots, develop a strategy or a counter strategy, and beat all of your opponents!

You can create your own characters in career mode. You choose righty or lefty, the gender, the color of the attire, hair color, and you can name your character (after yourself). You will play in tournaments against other players, win prize money, take training, and much, much more! You will be able to boost your stats if you complete training and improve your character's ability on the court. You will unlock tournaments when you beat some of the others. The career mode gets harder as you unlock harder tournaments. Unfortunately, once you've beaten a tournament, you can't ever play it again on the same file, but you will always have harder tournaments each time you win a tournament. You can't use characters created in career mode in the exhibition and tournament modes under “Play Now”.

The graphics are good and the characters look somewhat real. Graphics gets a 7 out of 10. The music is nice, so music/sound effects get a 7 out of 10 as well. The mini-games and the game play are quite interesting, so game play gets a 7 out of 10. Overall, this game gets a 7 out of 10 and can keep you playing for quite a while. This game is pretty decent as far as quality goes. 2K sports, Nintendo, Magic Pockets, and Indie Built did an extremely excellent job making this game. I like their finished product. Another great thing about this game is that you can change the language setting to English, French, Dutch, Italian, or Spanish. This allows more people to be able to play the game! You should definitely get this game if you've tried Top Spin before. The game has new recent professionals and is a lot more fun than the last one, not to mention better graphics (aren't graphics always improving?). If you have no idea which tennis game you should buy next, get this one! You won't be disappointed!
