Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2
Review by coolblue16
"Amidamaru! Into the sword! Into the GBA!"
I like The shaman king series. this game follows the show, for the most part, but it also has other parts in it that never happened on TV, but that don't matter, it's still a great game!
Story: 7/10
The basic "the bad guy is up to something, stop him"story is in this game, but it also follows the tv show and you meet up with different characters from the show Which helps the story. If you like Shaman King, you'll like the story
audio:7/10
The sounds are clear, the voices are clear, they are actually the voices from the tv show, so they are accurate. The music is pretty good, especially the boss music. I did have some problems, with the sounds getting staticy every once in a while, but its nothing serious.
graphics: 8/10
The graphics in this game are really good. The game is 2-D and the graphics are cartoon-like (well it IS a cartoon show, what did you expect?). The spirit attacks are detailed and so are the backgrounds, that where the graphics really soar.
Gameplay:10/10
This game is a side-scroller. You have a world map and you can choose different paths(if they are open). You have a sword for basic attacks, and you can call on different spirits for powerful attacks, there are a lot of spirits in this game and some can be upgraded or combined to make a spirit combination. The bosses are characters from the show and they even use the same attacks that the have in the show!.
replay value:7/10
The only replay this game has is actually quite fun. You can go collect all of the spirits(Its worth it, they are all really cool) and you can do time attacks of the bosses, including some bosses from Master of Spirits 1.
Buy or rent: buy
If you like Shaman King, buy this. If you like Castlevania type games, buy this. It is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good side-scroller.
