Megaman getting worse or better?
I've been playing Megaman battle network since the first game. To be perfectly honest, I think it's fair to say that Megaman have started screwing up since the fourth game. For the people who have never played this game, this is one of the best RPG titles around on the GBA. I am only criticizing it because Capcom is not doing a very good job improving their "already popular" games. Anyway, back to the main point lets get this review started;

What is this game like?
Capcom made two versions of this game; Team Protoman and Team Colonel. You can obviously tell they made them to make more money, and not actually to improve gameplay. You basically run around inside computers as an .EXE file (virus file) for short and deleting other viruses.

Storyline: 7/10

The whole game is based on a storyline. You MUST follow the storyline, and it isn't a "Do whatever you want" game. The storyline involves doing various tasks like saving people from the ultimate virus of doom -__-. And anything similar. If you like the sound of that, go for it! But really to be honest, it isn't very realistic, and it feels like the game was made for 8 year olds. But the problem is, there is no way an 8 year old can get anywhere close to completing this game. After years of pure gaming, reviewing, and faq writing, it took me 80 hours to complete this game 100%. And to be honest, that is quite a long time.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics have not improved since megaman 2. But nevertheless, it is still impressive for the GBA. The graphics are kind of cartoony, no glitches, just the usual. You won't have any problems with the graphics, prepare to be either impressed or... yeah impressed.

Sounds: 8/10

Fairly good sounds, will get you humming to it in no time. But it really depends on what you like. It is very similar to Pokemon music. There are no environmental music in it really. Just battle music and fast paced tunes. Quite good overall

Gameplay: 8/10

Megaman 3 had the best gameplay by far. Now in megaman 5, whenever you select a chip to morph into the navi you choose, you must do it at the beginning of every single battle. It gets old real fast. But still, if this is your first megaman battle net work game then you will enjoy it.

Overall/Conclusion: 8/10

Once again I say this; but this game could of been great. But with too many new ideas they screwed it up. On the other hand if you are a new player and have never played Megaman 5 before, go ahead and try it, it will be worth the £30 you spend on it. The storyline will last you a good 15 hours if this is your first time, but to compelete this 100% it will take you a long time.

*Very long game

Cons:
*Random battles can get annoying
*The storyline can get very frustrating
