"Scooby-Doo and the lame chase"

Since there are no reviews on this game, I figured I might as well write one for all those curious people. Maybe If I read one, I might of stayed away from this silly game. The only good thing about it is the graphics, Scooby-doo and the gang, look like themselves. After you get done playing your top games, like your Mario bros., Metroids, Donkey Kongs, Zeldas, etc. you say, lets try something different, and then you go and grab a game like this that lays an egg.

Hey I love Scooby, hes cool, loved him on the Xbox, but not here. For starters, lets say the game is really short. Six Levels, or six boards really, and thats it, and ridiculously easy. So if your a skilled game player, you can beat this game 1-2 hours. Unless you want to explore around the board, but nothing much to see, its all the same, no secrets hidden anywhere.

To make things even worse, the game play is really lame. Four boards are similar, you collect scooby snacks till you reach the end of the board, and fight an easy boss, like throw a barrel on him from a distance, and hes dead after a couple of hits. Its not brain surgery here. The other two are like 30 seconds long, thats it, you collect as much of scooby snacks before the timer runs out, or you die. Two same boards, only one is a snow ski, and the other a water ski, big deal.

The ending is really pointless, no big finish or anything like that, you solve the mystery..... and.... back to the title screen, Wow! To make things even more frustrating, on the last board you need to find 4 magnets to kill the evil ghost, and its almost impossible to find the last one. I didn't even bother at this point just came on line to see what the last code was. Thats another thing, why even bother having a continue or password for this game, when it can easily be cleared fast and then laid to rest.

You heard my side of the story, if you want to go out and big it, or rent it, have fun, but I didn't and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In todays video game crazy and great expiations from games, this don't cut it. It looks like something that should of been out for the gameboy back in the early 90s. All this game made me do was wish I rather watched a Scooby-Doo cartoon movie, and try and solve the mystery there, it would of been more fun.
