"Robot Fun"

INTRO
Here we go again, another animated movie hits our hand held video game console. It seems like this is a never-ending task. For starters, I'm one of those guys that did not see this movie. So this review is going to be based on people who didn't see the movie. I did a favor for a friend, and he decided to give this to me as token of his appreciation, was it worth it? Maybe a little bit, I wish he would of given me something much better. But free is free, worse to worse if I don't like it, I can hand it over to another poor soul.

GAME PLAY
The story goes as follows, you play as Rodney Copperbottom, a genius robot inventor. He uncovers a villain's evil plot to take over the city. With the help of his friends, he will over come challenging obstacles, to reach his goal. This game lets you ride fast robot vehicles, upgrade your arsenal of gadgets, battle evil robots, solve puzzles, and much more. You really can't complain up to here, this sounds like an interesting game. It is in its way. Some of the negative things is, people have told me its just like the movie, I really don't know if its true or not. So if you seen the movie, you will get bored with the story, and all ready know the ending. Rodney's weapons stink, they hard to control, and hard to aim and fire at someone. The controls are pretty easy to figure out, you don't need an instruction booklet for that. The camera angle can be off at bit. You need to keep track of where you're going, otherwise you get lost easy, it's a big map. All you see in this game is robots over and over again, if you don't like robots, then you got no business playing this game. I hope you don't get sick of them after awhile, cause this is no short game, one good thing is, it gives you hours of playtime.

APPEARANCE
This part of the game is really nice. I loved the way all those robots and gadgets looked like. It was real clear and very detailed. At this stage of the game you don't expect nothing but top of the line graphics from Game Boy Advance games. The background and the atmosphere of this game are truly lovely and cute. I guess this is more for a younger crowd, but a grown up can also enjoy it too. The sound quality surprising is very good. I have yet to hear good sound and music from a lot of hand held games, but for some strange reason this one hits a home run.

OVERALL
Ok people if you like nice robot graphics and wacky gadgets this has something in store for you. Think of this as an action RPG platform game. I thought it had a bit too much RPG, but that's my opinion. The replay value, I think is not that great, once you beat it, very much doubt you will come back for more. It's really hard to judge this game cause it has such good things about it, and some negative things about it. I'll let you decide what you think about it. I kind of liked it, but I'm not crazy about it.
