"I've played this game so many times I could recite every line by heart."

I got this game as soon as it came out. One of my friends had recommended it to me. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite games. Most view it as a watered down Pokemon rip off but it is actually a very different and wonderful game.

Gameplay- You create these little robots called Robopon by sparking batteries together. You fit them up with parts and software and then you go off and beat up stuff. It's great. Once your Robopon levels up you can enhance it into a newer, different Robopon. When you do this all of the stats are cut by one-third of their total and the level is also cut in half. But the enhanced Robopon are always stronger in the long run. You can have up to four Robopon with you and they all fight at the same time against up to four other Robopon. You fight against either other collectors of Robopon or in random battles while walking through dungeons. There are "bosses" in the game which are really just Robopon collectors with really powerful Robopon.

Graphics- Nice and clean. Not a whole lot of detail but definitely one of the best looking games on the Gameboy Advance. The towns are all different in their own way. The Robopon are creative and their enhanced versions look similar to the old versions but a lot cooler and different.

Controls- Easy to use, easy to learn. The Game Boy Advance has very few buttons so they couldn't have gone wrong here. A to select and B to cancel. That's it.

Storyline- You play as Cody (The name can be changed) who travels from Porombo Island to the continent of Majiko for a Robopon tournament. Unfortunately he forgets his Robopon. Right when he considers turning the ship around a storm appears and the ship crashes. He is rescued by a mysterious masked man who takes him into his house. He asks you your name and your birthday. You get up and head off on your journey. The dialogue and events in this game are HILARIOUS and much looser than in most other games. The game has a lot of comedy in it but still enough seriousness to keep it from becoming over the top.

Pros
+Over 200 Robopon to spark
+Funny and witty
+Unique battle system
+Creative leveling system
+A lot of different towns to explore

Cons
-Could be longer
-Could have more Robopon
