"Turtle Power!"

INTRO
The turtles are back. These guys seem to be immortal. Just when you think people have forgotten about them, they pop right back up again. Its good to see an old classic revived. Especially now with all the new technology they have they came make them look good and fight better then the old days from the 80's. I loved these guys when I was a kid on the cartoon shows, the movies, and even the comic books. So when you see a good turtle game out there (which is rare these days) you appreciate it.

GAME PLAY
You know from the start when you see a Teenage Mutant Turtle game, you know what's its going to be about. Fighting, make that karate fighting. That's what these guys do, and that's what they been training to do from little turtles. The question is are you going to get a good fighting game out of them.

This is the format of the game you have different levels to clear as you advance. Tough bosses to beat at some levels, you need to use your head you can't go rushing in and bashing everything like on the regular boards. You can get different upgrades as you earn money, and you decide how to spend it at the stores on the street. Your home base is of course the sewers.

The controls are good and easy to learn. You don't have to many fighting combos, but the ones you have are good enough. A few mini games to play to make extra dough. You do have a cute little story to follow along, with all the fighting you going to be doing. If you like this type of game format, the replay value for you will be high. Once you unlock everything, you can always go back and do a board of your choice.

APPEARANCE
This is a hand held game, and it does have good quality graphics for its size. The turtles all look the same like they always do. The only way you can tell them apart is by the headbands they have on and they different weapons they use. The levels and the backgrounds are well designed, and show's its crystal clear graphics. Just like the characters in this game. This is a fighting game so don't expect great music and sound effects. Lets just leave it at average at best.

OVERALL
Don't know what else to really say. I think I have said enough about what a good solid fighting game it is. For all the turtle fans out there this is a must game for you, and for all the non-turtle fans, you will still find good things about this game. Don't forget this game is for a reasonable price now, something like 20 bucks new.
