"Contra at its Worse Ever"

INTRO
Contra has come a long way from the 80's to now. One thing about this game is its unique all offense and no defense game. In other words you was Rambo all the time. You had no defense, so you need to dodge every bullet thrown at you. It was hard then, and it is still hard now. Now comes Contra Advance, this is what you call a waste of video game technology. They made it so much worse from the 80's it's sad. They should of left it the way it was, instead they killed, and I should say they killed it even more.

GAME PLAY
From start to finish all you do is run shoot and kill. Rambo's movement has changed from the old days. Now he can move around more freely, jump and shoot, maneuver and shoot, climb and shoot, etc. So this was a step forward for this game, but sadly that was it. They made this game so hard; where you need the 99 lives cheat code just to advance in it. You need lighting fingers to play this game, you need to move, jump, climb, point, shoot, and dodge bullets all at the same time. Come on guys, you got to be kidding me; this is not a video game, but a disaster. I expected this game to be kind of hard, but this is just out of control. Sorry, I find this unacceptable.

APPEARANCE
Can't knock this part of the game. It is well done, then again this is what we come to expect from the Game Boy Advance system. For it's little screen you get nothing but crystal clear graphics. Even all the levels have high definition graphics and unique backgrounds. I must say this is well indeed the best part in this game. The sound is pretty decent too. You can't expect too much from action games like this. Just a lot of gun play and shooting sound effects.

OVERALL
Don't know what else to say a bout this game, besides be ready to get frustrated. This is by far the worse game to have come out of the Contra series. Anybody that can clear this game with out the cheat codes, I must tip my hat to them, cause I couldn't. Replay value you might ask, to me is none what so ever. I got annoyed playing this the first time. Why would I want to do it again? Sorry, but this must be one of the worse games to have come out of the Game Boy Advance systems.
