F-Zero: Maximum Velocity

This game isnt what most people think. Many people say this game is a port of the SNES classic that was released around 1992, but actually this is a completely different game, with all new cources, cars, music, and even a different time period. If you liked the SNES game, then theres no doubt you'll like this one. The only difference is that this game is a little bit more slippery, but once you figure out how to get around that the game becomes a thrill.

Graphics - 10
Definantly out of all the GBA launch titles, this truly shows what the system is capable of. The game always flows at 60 frames per second, just like the n64 version. This game focused alot more on the background than the 64 version, which is a different plus. The cars look very cool too, and there all pretty different.

Sound - 10
Man I love the music in this game, expecially big blues music. There arent very much annoying sounds, which alone deserves to give the sound a 10.

Gameplay - 7
Now things start to fall down a bit. The game is wayyyy to frustrating. You going to have to practice 24/7 if you want to get all of the secret cars, because you get the last one you have to beat each cup in master mode (unbelievably hard) with every single car (excluding the one you want to unlock). Its going to take a long time to that, but if youre determined enough to get it, your sure getting your moneys worth.

Replay Value - 10
If your determined enough to get all of the cars, then this game will be in your GBA for months. And since you can play 4 player with just 1 cartridge, theres no reason not to buy this game, unless your like me who knows now one else that has a GBA =(.

If your a racing fan, or just like futuristic games, this game is a welcome addition to your GBA game library. If you can get over the games hard difficulty, you'll have a very fun time with this game.
