Bomberman Tournament

"a bit short but still a great game!"

This is my first review ever but after i finished Bomberman Story i just had to review this game :) So on with the review shall we folks? First of all I have to say I always liked to Bomberman games on every system, the gameplay always was simple but oh so much fun to play and even more fun when you played with friends instead of computer controlled enemy's.

Is there anything different about the first GBA bomberman game? YES!!!!!! this time there's a quest mode where the game is a like zelda outside the dungeons and inside the dungeons it's classic Bomberman gameplay with some simple puzzles which aren't that hard to figure out. Hudson also put in a Battle mode and that's the old classic bomberman gameplay we all know and still love :)

Graphics: 6/10, Nothing special here the same old Bomberman graphics from the SNES but it never where the graphics which made this game great. So don't expect graphics which will blow you away.

Music: 3/10, Now this is definately the weak point of this game. The music is just damn right horrible.

Sound: 3/10, the same as music :)

Gameplay: 10/10, the gameplay of this game rocks and i don't think i have to say anything about it, cause everyone knows bomberman, right?

Story: 5/10: Max crashed on a planet, you are sent to find him. That's it, then why the 5 and not the 1 you ask? Well at the end when you get to fight brainbomber it has a small plot twist which was worth some points :)

Replayability: 10/10, Now the 10 is for the battle mode cause when you finished the quest mode i don't think you would play it all again for a second time.. No, what made bomberman what it is today is the multiplayer mode now that simply rocks and it still does today. Nothing beats blowing up some friends and they added something special this time when someone gets blowed up they move to the sideline and can still throw bombs in the field just like dodgeball.

Buy/Rent: Well if you like bomberman then it's a buy, if you don't like bomberman you won't like this one either and if you never played a bomberman game rent it to see if you like and if you do BUY the game :)

The only thing i still want to say is that I enjoyed this game from the beginning to the end although it's a bit short (quest mode). It took me 3 days to finish the game but i had a alot of fun finishing this game and there aren't many games which are fun from the beginning till the end.
