"This game just doesn't suck me in"

This game just really disappointed me for what my 40 dollars was worth. I spent overly for the game which could be at the same level as GBC games.

Graphics 6/10: Blah! Bland as heck! You walk into a house and they all have a dresser and basically nothing else. The map gets boring and twisty. When you lay a bomb and walk away from the bomb so that it goes off screen it disappears! This makes it hard to kill enemies in a closed in space. The graphics are the standards for a GBC game so I'm disappointed with this.

Sound 7/10: Has some up beat tunes but nothing near the max that a GBA game could do. The sound effects are boring too, but it fits the cutesy ness of Bomberman.

Control 7/10: I find myself sometimes walking the wrong way that I seem to be pressing but it's probably just the GBA. Nothing special here, I don't like pressing R to bring up the menu but o well...

Gameplay 7/10: You around and blow up things. It gets boring because your mainly blowing up plants and stuff 2/3 of the time! You get little power ups for you Karabons(Pokemon clone.) Karabons are animals you get that have special abilities in game and you can battle them for special items and money. This is really a pokemon clone, I mean the first karabon you get is a bunny eared animal that is electric. CAN ANYONE SAY PIKACHU?! The gameplay in Quest mode gets boring to me. There is battle mode which is definitely more addictive. But there are always flaws right? Well the flaw here is the only 8 levels! I mean this IS a GBA game right? I thought they'd have a little more memory than a GBC! There are bomb powerups and special items and things to collect but it's really all boring mostly.

Replay 8/10: I guess you could replay it if you wanted. I like battle mode but it gets old after a while.

Buy or rent: If your a fan then buy it...otherwise rent it since you could beat it in a rental if you tried.

Overall 6/10: If you really wanted to waste your money on a GBA game that acts like a GBC game then this is the one. I'd recommend buying a game that shows the GBA's power, like Castlevania Circle of the Moon. Don't get me wrong though, this is a good game it just gets boring to me.
