"Becks should stick to REAL soccer"

This is definitely one of the worst new soccer titles around. Everything you want in a soccer game isn't there. Not that I'd know what is in the game because I gave up playing after about 15 minutes. It was THAT boring.
Let me list the faults.
NO real club and player names. I wouldn't mind it that much if the names didn't border on the offensive. The names chosen bear enough resemblance to the actual players but either sound crude or rude. (The difference is that rude would mean non-vulgar but it's not something you'd want your friends to call you)

Secondly, Manchester Utd and Man. City are renamed Manchester R and Manchester B. I'm not a Utd or a City fan but I believe most people buying the game would be and it's sad how the club the star of the game plays for ends up with such a cheesy name. What bugs me most is that my beloved Arsenal's renamed Highbury. What the?

Graphics are plain. It's nothing breakthrough even if they did manage to plaster dumb ol' Becks' mug all over the options pages.

The controls are average. I wouldn't say the controls are unresponsive but it just lacks that X Factor... you'll know what I mean if you tried playing the game.

I believe I read reviews for the Playstation version and it sounds nothing like this one.
This game seems more like an ego trip for Beckham rather than the solid much-hyped soccer sim it's supposed to be. It's not mediocre but it's average and since the World Cup is round the corner, it's best to wait for the truckloads of soccer games that would hit stores soon. One of them has got to be better than this.
