Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku

"Very good first attempt from Infogrames."

Well here it is another Dragonball Z based game. You have to give it to Infogrames it's a pretty good try, and hey there hasn't been an American DBZ game since 1997 since the release of Dragonball GT Final Bout for the Playstation one.

Gameplay - 9/10
The game was exciting to play because I'm a fan of the series, if your not a fan of the series you may find it dull, but I assure you that it gets better as you progress. The control is nice and the game responds quickly, the only thing wrong with the Gameplay is that instead of fighting people all the time to build your strength up you have to rely on killing animals, the animals also can kill you rather easy, but all in all its a pretty easy game.

STORY - 8/10
This game is about what it says in the title the ''legacy of Goku''. You go through the game building up strength, it starts at the beginning of the DBZ series the Radditz saga and takes you through to the end of the Frieza saga. The reason I gave it an eight cause it wasn't the complete DBZ series since they left out the Majin Vegeta and Buu saga's.


AUDIO - 7/10
With strong batteries or headphones the music in the game is heard clearly and it is nice, I just gave it a Seven because they didnt use the Original DBZ music. Voices are great though, Goku says Kamehameha very clear and loud, but the sad thing is that there really wasn't any voices besides that.

GRAPHICS - 10/10
The Graphics were very nice the opening intro was really neat and the game looked nice and well lit. The colors were vibrant and the Characters looked as who they are in the show. The inside of building were really neat. What can you really expect from Gameboy Advanced its not going be top notch but it's still good.

REPLAY VALUE - 5/10
This is were the game lucked out really the only reason to do it again is to cover the side missions that you may have not completed, The game is straight forward and doesn't offer any rewards.

BUY OR RENT - BUY
If your a real Fan of the series I would buy this game it is fun building up, and watching the little cut scenes, there hasn't been an American game in quite a while so pick it up, I can say it is a definite Rent.
