"Like Mario Tennis for the GBA... WTA style!"

This nice little GBA game was released in Japan some time ago, and I really like it. It's quite playable, so if you don't know a thing about tennis, you can still just pick it up and have fun with it. If you've ever played Mario Tennis for the N64, you'll know what to expect from this. Don't let the WTA title fool you, this Tennis game is top notch. Read on, and I'll tell you why!

Gameplay: This is really Tennis for beginners. It's very easy to play in the first few rounds, but it gets harder and harder as you go along. WTA plays very smoothly, and it's highly addictive. I found myself addicted once I started to loose a few rounds. I wanted to keep going on until I could play beat it.

Visuals: The graphics are kind of nice, and very colorful. I never lost track of where the ball was going, because the makers made very sure that it was an eye catching color. The rest of the backgrounds are nice as well.

Sound: The sound effect are OK as well. The smack of the ball sounds really good, and the music adds a tiny bit of excitement to the match. It's not an award winning soundtrack, but it's good none the less.

Fun Factor: If you've ever played Mario Tennis, you'll be right at home with WTA. You'll find yourself getting into the game very easily, and you'll probably find the game a synch to complete. Others (especially Tennis fans) will enjoy this game too. If you're a sports fan, or a fan of fun, addictive games, you should give this a try.

Replay: The replay is ok.. You'll probably go back and complete the game again, because it is so fun to play, but there isn't much that can be unlocked (unless I've missed something). But that's fine, since the game's Fun Factor makes up for that. No marks deducted here.

Recommendations: If you're into sports games, get this game. You won't regret it. If you've played Mario Tennis and enjoyed it, you'll really like it as well. I'd also recommend this game to people who just don't like Tennis. I never, ever watch Tennis on TV, but i am in love with this game. You might just feel the same way about it. Never judge a game by it's cover, or you'll miss out on a lot of good experiences. Over all, I recommend this little portable Tennis game to anyone who's into video games. Try it, because you won't regret it.

This game earns a full 10/10!
