"It's as addictive as GameFAQs"

I've always wanted to review an Ogre Battle game but there is so much to talk about it's hard to explain, I thought this may be the easiest one so let's just start it off since this is my first review... And yes people, GameFAQs is the most addictive thing next to crack. (in which you mother should paddle and scold you if you were to EVER do)

Gameplay - It has addictive battles, up to 8 members on a battle map, with many classes to choose from with multiple unique classes that only one character may use. It is missing some playable classes like Gunner (which isn't even in this game sadly) and Berserker, which are now called Bandits in this game, well at least they appear in it, but sadly you cannot recruit one... The customization is great, but the menus can be a little hard to start out with. There is also many items and magic that add to the customization which make battles more to enjoy. When you encounter the enemy you choose 8 members of your crew to do the fighting. You move in phases, meaning, your team moves, then your enemies move. The enemies don't gang up on your characters which makes it a little easy, they also take a while. But you can wait, can't you?

Gameplay - 8

Story - You start out as Alphonse, a Knight of Felis, I really can't tell you much about the story since I am quite bad at reports. (I'm like this in school, heh) There is quite a lot of story and if you recruit the optional characters they will add to it...

Story - 8

Audio - I think this part is THE worst in the game, and in my opinion it has the worst music out of of the Ogre Battle games. The voice that says ''Fight It Out'' as usual isn't that good. The sound effects are not that great either. Luckily they have a ''Sound Off'' option. Or you can just turn the sound all the way down. (honestly, I never take the time to click ''Sound Off,'' I just turn it down) Maybe it's just the GBA's sound capability to blame?

Audio - 3

Graphics - The graphics are very well done, big battle maps, and nice character sprites. My only complaint is the overworld map, the shouldn't have squeezed the whole thing onto one screen...

Graphics - 8

Replayability - This game has 2 paths, 4 endings, and up to 35+ hours of gameplay. I'd say you may want to play through it twice to see the different sides of the storyline, but depending on what kind of person you are, that's your decision...

Replayability - 7

To buy or to rent? - I would buy this game. Multiple paths and endings alone would make me buy it since I'm sure you won't beat it twice in 7 days or however long you get to rent it...

Over all, I give it a 7, I find it way too easy, and the Audio isn't worth hearing.
