"A just makes it SNES Game if you ask me!"

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is obviously based on the book (but more the movie). it mildly follows the course of the books because there aren't enough events in the book to make an RPG out of. For example they add long challenges after each class. Many things are different. But there were many things they could have done much better, like for example, the game's graphics weren't very colorful. Very plain and lifeless. Wattup with that? i mean the PlayStation version and PC graphics were pretty awesome. They could of done a little better? They should have stayed more on the storyline. Let me give a quick run through of the book
A boy named Harry Potter that survived a dark sorcerer that took his parents lives finds out at eleven that he's a wizard. For ten years he had to live with his aunt Uncle and cousin who were very mean. He went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He then has many troubles and so on.
However, the game either adds or forgets stuff, or changes stuff around too much.

GamePlay- 6/10 Not Bad. Okay. Not the most fun game in the world, but it will do. The controls are fairly easy and not hard to get used to. However it was hard because Harry moves very slowly so it's hard to shoot an enemy without them crashing into you.

Storyline- 9/10 Harry Potter's great! Nothing wrong with the storyline. However I don't like the glitches and added stuff they put in the game. They should have stayed more closely to the book.

Audio/Visual- 6/10 And that's pushing it. Most GBA games push to be better than SNES graphics. obviously Harry Potter didn't do that probably due to the fact of all the language selections. They translated I think 26 languages of text! If they hadn't done that, I think the Graphics would have been better.

Replayability - 4/10 You don't really need to play it again and after you're done with the game it's kind of a relief. It's actually very hard, some parts.

Buy it or rent it--If you are a harry potter fan, buy it. If you just got into Harry Potter rent it. It's an average game because i give it 6/10.
