"Blast to the Past!"

Bomberman Max 2 Blue and Red Advance is a blast from the past. It gives you the classic Bomberman feel, you've come to know and love, on the Portable GameBoy Advance.

The Story:

The story is made quite well for the game. The evil HIGE HIGE Bandits are up to their old tricks again, this time, touching down, and infiltrating Bomber Base. Led by their evil leader Mujoe, had planted, and left a shrinking device, or rather, the ''Mini-Mini'' device in the main control room in Bomber Base, and shrunk both Bomberman and Max to the the size of ants. It is now up to both Bomberman and Max to survive, destroy the Mini-Mini device to return to their natural size, and to stop Mujoe, and the HIGE HIGE Bandits from taking over the universe.

The Graphics:

Bomberman Max 2 Red/Blue Advance's graphics are nicely developed on the GameBoy Advance system. The graphics are semi-realism, while semi-cartoon like, to give you that original Bomberman feel. The sprites for the characters are nicely done, and the bomb explosions are classic.

The Gameplay:

First of all, depending on which game version you get, will determine which character, and which Charaboms you play as, and get. In Blue Advance, you play as our champion Bomberman, and in Red Advance, you play as our cool challenger, Max.

The games controls are rather simple to use, and are the same for both versions. Start pauses the game, ''A'' drops a bomb and selects an option, ''B'' detonates remote bombs, and ''R'' and ''L'' are both used to access the Charaboms.

The game itself is rather easy to get used to, since it follows the basic gameplay of all its predecessors. Once you start playing Bomberman Max 2, you just get right into it, and keep playing.

The Music:

The music in this game, could have been better. With the music you hear in other games, may sometimes put down this game's, but it is still well matched to the main theme of the game. You're small.

Fun Factor:

This game can keep you entertained, and playing for hours, as long as you're a Bomberman fan. Also, when playing this game, you need lots of patience, and if you don't have patience, then I suggest you steer clear of Bomberman Max 2.

In Conclusion:

Bomberman Max 2, Red and Blue are both very entertaining games, and is definitely a worthy GameBoy Advance game, that holds the title, Bomberman.

Buy or Rent in my opinion:

This game is a sure to be a BLAST, and I suggest you buy it, if you like Bomberman games that is. It has that classic Bomberman feel to it.
