"Megaman+chess+way faster pace=good"

First off, some info so you know what I'm talking about.
Megaman. The name of a robotic hero that's not afraid to go out in his stupid blue suit. Megaman Battle Network. Capcom's answer to the strategy/rpg Genre. Chess. A game where you manuver a piece to ''kill'' the king by using other pieces to help. Megaman Battle Network 2. Megaman Battle Network 1 hyped up on crack. Now that that's over with, let's get this underway.

Graphics:9/10. The backgrounds weird, there's a lot off cool music and fighting going on at the same time. Earthbound? no. A lot of the characters ave a decent amount of sprites, and things are going on even if you stand still. The colors are vibrant, but not to the point of blindness, or to the point where they make the game look cartoony. Battles are still cool, and now there's a wider variety of chips to use for more graphics variety.

Sound: 9/10. WOW. The music is memorable, not annoying, and fits really well into the game. 'nuff said.

Gameplay:8/10 Here's the tricky part of the game, and also where it really shines.f you've played Megaman Battle Network 1, you'll slip right into it, and there's still stuff you need to learn. Outside of ''the net(AKA coolest place in the game),'' You control Lan. Lan doesn't do much other than move around and check things. Inside the net, you control Megaman.EXE and battle viruses in a highly good, very well done, innovative battle system. The B button fires the main buster, which you can buy upgrades for. If your HP runs out, you die, but you can buy upgrades for that too. Then there's the battle chips. match with either type, letter, or both, and you can use many at once with the a button. Don't need some? Select them like normal and use a turn to trade them out(Turns are from battle chip selection to battle chip selection). But now there are many other things brand-spankin new to MMBN 2. First off is Styles for Megaman. the first word in the style relates to the element, the secong refers to type. My first was heatguts, fire offensive type, strong against wood, weak against water. Power doubled, rapid down to one, charged shots are flamethrowers. The next is default chip. you buy/win/recieve mb upgrades for Megaman, and if you have a chip that equals or is less than it, you can preset it and it will always be there in the start of the battle. The next one: Subchips. Megaman no longer recovers HP after each battle like in the first, you use subchips to replenish hp, unlock data, etc.

Story: 8/10. Netmafia /gospel vs you and netbattlers, instead of you vs the WWW(the owner of Fireman now has heatman).

Overall: 8/10. With good gameplay, sound, graphics, and a pre-used storyline, this game burns itself nto your eyesockets, and keeps you clawing your face for more. even after you beat the game, try collecting the battle chips, and go on a hidden mission.
Have fun, I did.
