"This Game is the Reason I Got a GBA"

Game Play 8/10
The game play is great but there are 2 big flaws that I can’t get over. The first thing is that most of the classes cant change class and the 2nd is that allot are really really useless. However if you can get past that(witch shouldn’t be to hard) the game is really cool. There are lots of cool features such as emblems, items hidden on the battlefield, the ability to knock people back and there are a whole lot more. Also the alignment system is cool.
Fun Factor 9/10: It’s easily tied for the most fun strategy RPG I’ve ever played... I always wanted to just skip through the dialog sense just to get back to the battles.
Challenge 5/10: Arrearage, the most I ever had to replay one mission was once.
Controls 10/10: I couldn’t find anything wrong with them... but then again that’s expected from an RPG.

Graphics 7/10
They’re good, well for GBA that is... although I’ve seen allot better on GBA.
Special Effects 6/10: There well done but they should have made them flashier(and shorter too).
Style 9/10: I’ve always bin a fan of the late 2D classic graphics this game pulls it off quite well, but really it doesn’t have much of a graphical style.

Sound 6/10
Music 5/10: I can’t stand it, I have nothing more to say it just annoys me.
Sound effects 7/10: Arrearage, no more no less.
Voice Acting ?/10: There isn’t any voice acting.

Story 7/10
It’s ok, I guess if you’re new to RPGs you may see it as good but I just really didn’t much care for it... anyway its not a bad story its just I could predict it half the time
Orignality 5/10: It’s bin done, given it hasn’t bin done to death but I’ve seen it all before
Script 9/10: There are one or two things I think could have bin worded better but its unlikely you’ll even catch it.

Value 10/10
This game is quite long you can easily get 45 hours out of it even with out the extras and with the extras I can see someone getting at least 75 hours.
Replay Value 8/10: There are 5 different endings and some really big choices to make, and the battles aren’t half-bad, so playing through again is still pretty fun.
Multi-Player 10/10: If you and your friend both buy the game it can be fun to compete against each other and you can even play on the same GBA in training mode and have your friend help you level up your team. Also there is some really cool stuff you can’t get with out playing multi-player mode.

Buy or Rent
Ok first off I don’t think you can rent GBA games, or at least you can’t where I live. Also if you do rent it you’ll never beat it unless you play none stop and you’ll miss out on allot of the cooler stuff. Anyway if you don’t buy this game and you like RPGs(especially strategy RPGs) I’d say you just wasted $90 on a GBA.

Bottom Line
This game is why I bought a GBA, if you like strategy RPGs at all then buy this game.

Pros: Fun battles, lots of side quests, lots of classes
Cons: some classes are really useless, you need a link cable to get the most out of the game, weak story
