"A new breed of Shining Forces..."

Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars is my second favorite (My first favorite is GoldenSun of course!) game that has came out on GameBoy Advance. The people who created this game have really put a lot of effort into perfecting the game. They especially put much effort into the story line and making it as suspenseful as possible. Once you pick this game up, you won't put it down till you beat it.

Storyline-10/10

Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars has the best story line I have ever seen! It is like watching a movie when you play it! It is great because they explain clearly what is going on so you won’t get confused. The people who wrote the story of this game really put a lot of effort because they always keep your attention and you will never get bored of it.

Gameplay-9/10

The gameplay of Zone of the Enders is like Advanced Wars in which you move your characters around in a grid in order to fight. Its like Shining Forces (from Sega Genesis) except better because each of your characters have special moves and that they have abilities and gain better abilities as you go deeper into the game. The downside is that the enemy is a bit too easy. I only had a little trouble in one mission. If they had made the enemy more difficult the game would have been way better.

Graphics-10/10

Graphics in this game are awesome! It contains some anime photos mixed into the battle. The graphics are clear and the anime photos are excellent because it looks almost real with all the shadowing.

Sound/Music-10/10

The music in this game is great! There is a variety of music not just one music being played over and over and you can listen to each one in the options menu. The music they play matches the feeling they are trying to express so you won’t hear happy music when someone dies (unless it is the villain of course!).

Replay-9/10

The game has multiple endings depending on what you do so that you have to replay it in order to see another ending. Luckily unlike other games, Zone of the Enders provides 15 save slots so that you can save the part where you have to make a decision to change the ending and start from there when you want to see the other endings.

Overall-9/10

In total, this game is great! The story line is what makes this game definitely worthwhile playing. This is a must have game.
