Mega Man Zero

"Zero has come to save us, Mega man is looking for a job!!"

Introduction
Now I have played most every Mega man game and parts of the series has just rotted away from it's old self. The X series is one of the part that is sick. Now I played X5 & X6 and was saddened at the series death. Now Zero gets his own game. At that moment I read that it was coming out I said ''Capcom will either make or break Zero.'' Now on to my review.

Story 10
Now the Story is actually quite good because of the way it is set up. Now Zero has been a sleep for a hundred years and is now a wakened. His mission save Ceil and her band of rebels from Neo-Arcadia. Now he must save the Reploids from the people, to ensure safety.

Battle 10
Now battle moves quite smoothly and fast which may or may not be for the best. Like the original series You are side scrolling (meaning it is 2D). Now you move quickly but till you get a strong sword lv. you won't hold a praier against bosses unless you slaughter all the robots. The Boss are the hardest part of the game. Cyber elfs can be used but you are ranked on skill and that cuts down skill. Now they can do several things to make the battle easier, Nurse meaning heal and increase your max HP, Hack, meaning they affect your enemies in several ways, or Animal which can boost your physical stats or bail you out of trouble. Now if you use a Cyber-Elf that increases something permanently before going in a mission it won't effect your rank.

Controls 10
Another part that could make or break a Mega man game. I like the controls because it gives you 3 attack modes,
Type A: When you hold R, then press B you use your sub weapon.
Type B: When you press R you use your sub weapon, so this makes it so that you can charge the sword and Gun at the same time, the only down side is it takes some time to get use to.
Type C: R switches weapons for the B button attack
Now other controls like dash are a little awkward if you don't like the L Button. Wall climbing is still the same as the X series hold the joy pad in the direction of the wall you want to climb.

Graphics 9.8
These graphics are great nothing wrong with them but it is more like character design. Zero looks like he is from the MMBN series and other characters look like that design. There is a time and place for cute characters and this game is not it (I'm not saying I don't like MMBN I just don't like cuteness design in every thing).

I enjoy the game and am quite satisfied with the game. I haven't beaten the game so I can't tell how long it is but I will play it again so it probably a game Zero fans like me will treasure. Buy or don't buy, Buy it now. Mug someone on the street if you have to!!!
