SpongeBob SquarePants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman

"Pretty good"

Well I got this game recently and when I played it I was pretty good at it because the game explained the major stuff like the different kinds of bubbles. During the first few levels there are signs that explain things that are in front of you so you know what is going on.

Story: In this game, you are out on a quest to find ''a genie'' (which is the Flying Dutchman)'s treasure. He must go through many levels to get the treasures. This can get hard because you have to find three keys scattered throughout each level. You must avoid Jellyfishes, Electric Coral Fields, and weird sea monsters like weird snakes and weird pufferfishes. Once you get all of the treasures for him, he says he will grant Spongebob one wish.

Gameplay: 8/10 Gameplay is pretty good. I haven't beaten the game yet so I don't know how long it is but I think the length will be just fine. The controls are very easy to master. If you don't have the manual then just try out random buttons. They are very easy to memorize. The game is very fun. You get to blow bubbles to trap jellyfishes, then jump on them! You also have the bouncing bubble to bounce up high. And when you glide, Spongebob is like a big ball! lol it is very funny. One bad thing though is some of the levels can be extremely tricky. In some levels you have to go around and around to get all the coins and the keys for the Dutchman's treasure chest.

Mini Game: Funny! There is a little mini game in some of the levels, and it is a jelly fish riding game. You ride a jellyfish and get coins and underwears (which are health). After you get through a mini game you can get more lives. It is fun and useful.

Graphics: 9/10 Well the graphics is not that bad. It is just like any other Game Boy Advance games. It is not hard on your eyes like some other games though, so you can play for a long time (even though you shouldn't so your eyes don't get bad)

Music: 10/10 The music is great. It changes depending on whether you're in a dark place or a happy light place. It is not going to make you go crazy like some other games.

To Rent or Buy? Buy!! This game will take you more than five days to beat, and that's with Gameshark!! Withough Gameshark it will take you quite a while so just spend thirty five dollars on this game and buy it! Don't worry it will be worth it.
