Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul

"I came to Yu-Gi-Oh by DDS...and now with this I'm staying!"

I don't know why, but this game will keep you addicted for a while. As I said and I quote directly from my Dark Duel Stories review, ''This is the game that brings me into many Yu-Gi-Oh things.'' And it's still in affect with this game! And this game is way better, and more accurate to the real card game.

Story - N/A
Unlike Dark Duel Stories, there isn't much of a story here cept to actually play the game. Maybe there is one later in the game, I doubt it though. What it is though, is that there is a calender. After each duel you move to the next day, and some days have special events. I haven't gotten to a special event yet so I dunno anything about them.

Graphics - 10/10
Wow...That's all I can say, is wow. This game is just perfect. The cards are really colorful, and unlike Dark Duel Stories, this game lets you see the complete card, unlike Dark Duel Stories when it shows only a half of it. It's much better than Dark Duel, that's for sure!

Sound - 8/10
A lot better then the music on Dark Duel Stories! This music is great and the sounds are much better! Trust me on this!

Control/Gameplay - 10/10
I summon <insert monster here>! That's pretty much how it goes here in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! It's a card game. Unlike Dark Duel Stories, this game plays excactly like the real card game, unlike Dark Duel Stories when they tweak them a bit. If you play the normal Yu-Gi-Oh card game, or any other Yu-Gi-Oh game, you'll know how to play. If you don't, learn, cause there is no tutorial in this game.

Difficulty - 10/10
...wow. That's a bigger wow then the one I said above also. =P The AI is PERFECT! Very intelligent. They know how to play. You will have a bit of trouble on certain characters. Take note I said certain! You better get a good deck, cause these guys mean busines!!

Overall - 10/10
I was thinking the perfect Yu-Gi-Oh game would come on Playstation 2 or GameCube, but I see the absolute BEST is on Gameboy Advance. Konami, you did a Perfect Job. Great job! The password system is back, the special events are a nice addition, and its just...wow. Well anyway, I highly recommend this to ANYONE!
