Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters

Review by Shiek927

"Yu-Gi-Oh! takes to a whole new level"

if you watch Yu-Gi-Oh! (who dosen't?) then you will see the 4 part Dungeon Dice Monsters special event, the way yugi and duke devilon play is basically how this game is set up, hopefully i haven't bored you with what i'm saying so here's the review already.

Graphics 10/10
the graphics in this game really show off the game boy advances power, beautiful color, and great animation, especially when playing.

Gameplay 10/10
like the heart of the cards, the gameplay is the heart of the game, like i said before, its played like the show, you get 3 dice, the 6 sides are shown as: Defend,Attack,Move,Magic,Stay, and summon. you roll the 3 dice, each dice has a different color to it, representing the higher monster (kinda like the stars on the cards) but we'll get to that later, when you roll the dice it has to land on 2 summoning crests, or you won't summon a monster, the dice that dosen't land on a summon crest get sent to the crest pool, so you can move, use magic, stay, attack or defend the number of times the dice land on it, if you don't land on 2 summoning crests your turn ends, if you do, you can summon a monster, the color of the dice represents the level of the monster, so if it is a high level monster, the chances of you rolling a high level monster are slim, while rolling a lower level monster are easier, instead of life points (LP) you have Heart Points (HP). all monsters on the field have HP, and when they are are depleted, the monster gets sent to the graveyard (duh). the core of your heart points lies with you dungeon master, when a monster attacks the dungeon master, it loses a heart point, when all 3 heart points are lost, you lose. when you summon a monster the 5 remaining sides of the dice will act as a path, (5 since the 6th is required for the summoning) the path will eventully lead to the dungeon master. you can use the crests at your crest pool at any time.

Sound/Music 8/10 the music is good, though you don't really pay attention to it, the sounds is really what you listen to, and there ok. but the gameplay is what matters

Replay Value 10/10 this game is so fun, you'll end up coming back for hours, and with a tournament too! so you may even end up as the Dungeon Dice Monsters Champion! overall this game will grasp you from the beginning and never let go.

Overall 10/10 Dungeon Dice Monsters itself clearly excels the normal card dueling. and its no different that the game does as well, so get it now!! go on, you will not regret it

Buy/Rent, BUY!!!!!
