"A Great Book Becomes A Great Game"

Introduction: This is possibly the best game I have played on the GameBoy Advance for a long time. I have been waiting for this game to come out for a long time but it was worth the wait. Its like a Diablo 2 for the GameBoy Advance.

SOUND 9.0

I have to admit, the music in this game is great. Its from the movie and they did a great job converting it to the GBA. The sound effects blew me away, they have orcs either growling or screaming in pain and you can even hear Legolas' bow fire the arrow. Overall, the sound is a great feature to this game.

Graphics 9.8

The graphics in this game are amazing. Simply amazing! The FMVs in the introduction made my jaw drop. The game has very smooth graphics and each environment is very well detailed. I even had at least eight or nine enemies on the screen and there was very little slowdown. The characters look pretty sweet too, each enemy, whether it is an orc or the cave troll, is very well designed The rich and smooth graphics make this a great buy!

Game Play 9.5

I have to admit, this is one of the most addictive games I have played on a handheld. This game is so much like Diablo 2 its kind of eerie. It plays like and action/rpg and does a great job of creating the Lord of the Rings feeling.

Controls 10

The games controls fit very well in this game. They are simple to learn and are very easy to get used to. I was already used to the game's controls the first five minutes I first played it.

Replayability- Very High

This game has so many things to do such as collecting special artifacts and making each character unique using their skills and stats. And after you finish the game with the last character, you will want to start all over again.

Rent or Buy

This is one of the greatest games I have played for the GBA. There is so much to do and it is so fun that this game screams ''buy me, buy me!'' So if you are a fan of Lord of the Rings or Diablo this game is a must buy!
