Introduction
Jimmy Neutron is a movie and a TV show by Nickelodeon. Jimmy Neutron is about this 10-year-old kid who invents new stuff to make his life better. When I first saw this game on THQ's website, I thought that it was going to be a bad game like every other Nickelodeon related game. After playing it, I was wrong.

Gameplay
The gameplay is really great. The game is starts out in a giant area of Jimmy's town. You would explore the town finding you levels which is marked off by a flag. Some levels will let you play, as Jimmy and some will let you play as his robotic dog, Goddard. Unlike most video games based on movies or TV shows, Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius does more than the traditional ''Run and Jump'' gameplay. You can't attack enemies by just Jumping on them you get to shrink them using Jimmy's Shrink Ray or stun them with Goddard's Laser. Also you can explore different parts of your level by walking, jumping, or even using Jimmy's Jet-Pack. While you're exploring a level you need to collect certain items that will allow you to fix Jimmy's Strato XL Rocket and access other levels. Later levels let you even use Jimmy's Strato XL Rocket to fly in space, while you're in space you get to fire lasers at Asteroids and Alien spaceships. The difficulty levels are Easy, Medium, and Hard. The game is easy on Easy and Medium, but the gameplay gets harder on Hard. Also the controls are setup well, making it easy to access the Jet-Pack, Shrink Ray and other Gadgets.

Story
The story is about a 10-year-old boy named Jimmy Neutron, a robotic dog named Goddard reparing their Rocketship and going into space to save Jimmy's parents Mr. and Mrs. Neutron from evil aliens called Yokians.

Graphics/Sound
The graphics are some of the best I've have ever seen on any Game Boy Advance game. The game takes advantage of Game Boy Advance's color pallette. The still pictures that tell the story between levels are very detailed, they aren't clips from the movie, but they tell the story well. The in game graphics are made from pre-rendered making it look like the areas in the game were taken from the Jimmy Neutron Movie. The sound effects are simple when Jimmy jumps, but when he uses his Shrink Ray or Jet-Pack the sounds are great. The Shrink Ray sounds like lasers, while the Jet-Pack has rocket sounds. The music is good, but some of the songs aren't that great.

Play Time/Replayability
It depends on your difficulty setting, so this will be about Easy mode. Easy mode takes about four days to beat. If you play this game in four days you will need to write down the Password at the end of each Level. Replayability is high, because there's always something you can explore!

Final Recommendation
Rent or Buy this game? Well you should buy this game. It's a great game for Jimmy Neutron fans or people who like Adventure games.
