"Is Nintendo Milking the cash cow with this game? Well Yes but who cares!"

A new Pokemon game out and people may think that Nintendo are milking the cash cow to make money but after playing the latest pokemon game who cares, This is the best game in the series by far.

Graphics 9/10

The Graphics in this game are amazing, the water effects are great (Water seems to becoming Nintendo's specially) walk pass the water and see your reflection or watch over a puddle and you get distortions. The battle animations are cool but un like crystal before the pokemon aren't animated but you see your character throw a poke ball into battle.
The scenery in this game is all brightly colured and makes each place stand out.
At last on the map Pokemon look like the Pokemon they are supposed to look like, not like before when they were all identical.

Gameplay 8/10

Ok, so it is the same as the previous Pokemon games but if you haven't played before here is the jist of it, you start out on a journey to become the Pokemon master by walking around capturing pokemon and training them to become stronger and help you win badges at the many Gyms scattered around the world.
This game may not be a long jump ahead of the previous games but the world map has had a overhaul, actually looking like a world at last and not a big chunk of land.
The only problem is if you are playing the Japanese version the text is in Japanese and their isn't a way to change it to English, So this may hinder you're progress for a while but with some think (or visiting the board) you can get around any trouble. Pokemon has never really been a text heavy game any way.

Sound 9/10

The sound in this games is great, each town having it's own different music and the battles have some great sound effects, the only thing stopping me from giving the sound a 10 is the Pokemon make stupid growls when you send them out, it would be nice if they said their name like pikachu in yellow but we all can't have what we all want.

Life span 9/10

Gotta catch them all is the motto of Pokemon and if you try to do this the game's life span will last for a very long time, Also if the multi player is as addictive as before, I haven't played it yet, this can last forever (I still play my brother and Pokemon blue and red link up battle)

Rent Or Buy

BUY, if you rent this you will never get to sample what this game has to offer and you will barley scratch the surface of it, BUY.

Hope this review helps you, I'm now off to play this game.
