"Eternal Duelist Soul is the King of Game"

Fans of the popular television show Yu-Gi-Oh will be amazed by what Yu-Gi-Oh The Eternal Duelist Soul has to offer.

Story : 0/10
Uhh............You are a guy and......you duel....

Gameplay : 7/10
You are given your own deck for this game. You customize your deck accordingly with your own strategies. Use your deck to challenge different duelist and for every win you achieve, you get a new pack of 5 cards which lets you do more customization. This may sound fun and all but can get sorta tedious and repetitive since you have to duel that same person more than once. Also i found the turns to be very frustrating with the phases and a message pops up every turn you do. You will enjoy this game more and more as you progress though and you will definetly have a tough opponent.

Graphics : 9/10
These are awesome graphics considering its a GBA game. The cards look exactly like the cards in real life and are just beautifully decorative. The actual playing field isnt as nice as it could be. Its sorta plain and cards are just 2 colors unless you view them, but that doesn't seem to cause any trouble unless your a very graphical person.

Replay Value : 8/10
This game will help you practice for real duels against your buddy's at school or a home. It is sorta an incentive to play Eternal Duelist Soul, i guess...But the best thing is that you get more and more cards as you advance, therefore upgrading your decks to become even more powerful and thats what pulls you in. But like i said before, battling the same person again and again can get boring, but rewarding non-the less since more challengers await you for beating, lets say Yugi about 10 times.
As you do get further and further, you will stumble upon opponents and they will have cards that arent even released in Canada...Therefore playing this game will let you learn ahead of time.

Overall (Not Average): 9/10
This game is an excellent game for Yu-Gi-Oh fans. You'll fall in love first site with this game. Its a nice little game plus you get 3 cards when you buy this game. I forget what they are since i did trade them away, but they are good. Collecting new cards in the game and practicing to be the master duelist is really rewarding.
