Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

Here is my Review for Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland for Gameboy Advance. I played this game before for the Nes and it was one of the best games around. Well here is what I think about the game (thats why you are reading this in the first place).

Graphics:10
OK why 10? Here is why... First every level, boss, character, item, ect... is very colorful. If you played any Kirby game before then you know that bright colors is what you see. Now they used a lot of animation when kirby gets a power and whe he uses it. when sword kirby uses the air spin slash, it just looks cool, when fire kirby burns a foe it looks like its on fire. I think they put some mode 7 effects in the game because the scrolling and the way kirby swims in the game (and dance) just looks too good.

Sound:8
Happy music! Thats what you hear in this game. Nice upbeat music! It matches with the bright colorful graphics that is in the game. Kirby has the classic float and swallow sound that he has from other games so you hear that a lot. When you see a bomb fall, you can hear falling. All of his powers matches with the sounds that it has (Ice kirby has the ''bling, ching'' sound, Thunder kirby has the crackle sound, ect..) and thats a good thing.

Control:10
One button to jump/fly the other to attack/eat/special power and select to lose your power. Thats all you need and you can't ask for more. It would had been cool if you can save powers and switch them by using the L and R buttons but sadly you can't. The response is perfect and anyone can learn how to move kirby in minuets or even in seconds.

Playability/Life:9
Its pretty easy game at first but it gets harder at the end. If its too easy for you there is a hard mode once you beat it so you can try again... but harder. Also there is a few mini games here that are fun (more fun if you have 3 friends with GBA and the link). I think that this game is a keeper for Kirby fans of new and old... which means that this game gets a 9 in my book... or for at least this review.
