Sonic Advance 2

"Sonic is great!"

Storyline/Sound: 9/10
Remembering the old Sonic games, this one comes into my mind as an original draft in terms of the story. The game has a unique story similar to that of other Sonic games, chase Dr. Eggman, and get the emeralds. This sonic has a different appeal to me, it screams out ''lay me now''. The story is like Sonic Advance, and it reminds me of the Sonic games that we all know and love.

Sound in this game resembles the music, sound effects, and voice overs of the last Sonic game, Sonic Advance. With great level, and new types of Chao, who can go wrong with this. New music, and different sounds effects make this game a must buy in the top ten games. My opinion is that with this new addition of music and SFX, there should be a new type of language, but there isn't sadly. ^_~

Characters/Control: 10/10
Characters in Sonic are always great. The originals like Sonic, Miles ''Tails'' Prower, and Knuckles, make this a great game for it's originality in it's characters. With new profound abilities for some of these characters, and harder stages, you can be sure to bring about the characters' greatest aspects, making the game even more enjoyable. This is a great advantage in terms of being a great game, but with original characters, who couldn't love this game in a heartbeat?

Control is pretty much the same as in SA1. It has the jumps and spin dashes that we all love, the punching and kicks that we all enjoy to use on the multiple enemies, and the greatest yet, the speed. Dashing through the snow is a great song and all, but with this you really dash through the snow....on top of multiple enemies, that is. So many different possibilities all cramped into this cartridge brings about mega-fun. Enjoy.

Graphics/Scenery: 10/10
The graphics, of course, are our 2D Sonic details which make this a great game, especially since it is a side-scroller. Lots of majestic scenery makes the game's quality even more enjoyable. Listening to the music, and grooving on down to some of the SFX, can expand your play even more, just getting you to feel relaxed. With so many things to do, who can go wrong with a simple purchasing of this game? No one should, especially after reading this review that I typed.

Scenery is great, and the detail is the key. The graphics and scenery pretty much go along hand-in-hand, but with lots of detail. The scenic paths in the level have so much scenery that it might make it hard for you to focus. Just don't pay attention to it. The scenery has a wide range, that goes from snow, trees, water, bugs, fish etc. This means that you can also sit back and enjoy watching the scenic backgrounds and such. Beautiful and crisp are two words that describe the scenery here. This is yet another great advantage in sight!

Buy or Rent:
Definitely buy. Too good of a game just to throw back on a rental.

Overall: 10/10
Good game. This is a good game for children, teens, and adults alike. Sonic is versatile, and should belong in the hands of millions through GBA!

This is a very good game, so go and buy it now. Ask for it as a present!
