"The classic FPS is back on GBA"

I remember watching my dad play this game on PC when I was 6. In fact I install this game on every new computer we get. But does this port compare to the original? Read on to find out.

Graphics 6/10

Yes I know the graphics are ten years old. But believe it or not they feel right at home on the GBA. There are unfortunately a couple of problems though, like lost objects, and enemies turning into pixelated lines the farther away you are from them. In fact some enemies dissapear if your more then ten feet away from them. But when you get close to them that's where this game really shines. The enemies look good, and the guns look realistic. Overall the graphics get a six out of ten.

Gameplay 10/10

It's amazing how addictive this game is after almost eleven years. You have four weapons, and 99 ammo, which makes you wish they would implement it in current games more. It's really cool to go into a room you haven't explored, walking in and realize that you only have two ammo left. Then having to retreat because there's like four SS guards waiting for you. There are four difficulty settings so newbies can ease right into it. But unfortunately for veterans there's nothing new. A challenge mode, another difficulty, or multiplayer mode would've been a nice addition for veterans. This is still a good game to pick up and play for five minutes so overall, it gets a ten out of ten in gameplay.

Sound 8/10

Can't say much about about the sound because there isn't any really. They took out all the music, so the only sounds you hear are the shots of guns, opening of doors and secrets, and the shouts of nazis. Though without the music the remaining sound effects are still great. If you want to get the classic wolfenstein experience put on some music that gets you pumped because that's what the original did. Sound gets an eight out of ten.

Replayability 10/10

This game still has great replayability. You can play the game on all difficulty levels, and try to get a perfect game, or you can just blast yor way around trying to beat the PAR time. Replayability gets a ten out of ten.

Overall 8/10

There isn't much here for veterans, but newbies wanting to play a classic should buy this game. Overall this game gets an eight out of ten.
