Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters
Review by RubyBlizzaro
"Hmm...A Great Game!"
This is a excellent game that Yu-Gi-Oh fans or someone who's looking for a challenge will like. Its based on strategy. So basically, you roll dices and place summoned monsters on the grid and move towards your opponents heart points. It also adds luck into this game. Since you roll dices, luck is needed to get what you need in this game.
This game looks fresh to begin with. Everything about it is very good. The one factor that most would get a gamer interested is: Re-playability. It has it. It also has a good graphics and is very simple to learn how to play. Its not one of those games with a 3 hour learning curb.
Graphics: The graphics are the best since its on GameBoy Advance. But nevertheless good for its platform. The monsters are 3Dish so it looks sort of good. Better than most GameBoy Advance games. Graphic Rating: 8/10
Music Score: The music is not the best in my personal opinion. Its basically melodies to get you into the game. Its nothing special or new. The tunes kind of repeat itself in most duels. But if you don't mind music much, then you can live with it. I did. But they could have used more music. Music Rating: 7/10
Re-playability: It doesn't have much re-playability but you can if you seek challenges. I replayed it twice already just to try out different dices. You get different dices each time you start, you get new dices. So its a nice way to play with different strategy each time. Replay Rating: 9/10
Difficulties: Its an easy game to play. It may take a duel or 2 to get the hang of it. Which is quite faster than other games. Sometimes it gets tricky cause luck isn't on your side but it doesn't mean that the game is too hard - its just luck. Difficulty Rating: Easy
Twist: This game is definitely a new twist. Its more complex at first but fun later. Its a complete new idea that hasn't been used before. Twist Rating: 10/10
Rent or Buy?: Rent definitely. If you don't like the game, you don't have to buy it. That way, you won't waste money on a game you don't want. Renting is a safe way to make sure you like a game. So rent it first, then if you like it, buy it.
Total Scores:
Graphics: 8
Music: 7
Re-playability: 9
Twist: 10
Rent or Buy: Rent
