"Diablo + LOTR= Great Game!!!"

Wow! This game is absolutely amazing! Of all the movie-game conversions, this is undoubtedly the best. This game is just like Diablo 2 with LOTR characters, places, items, and enemies, and I have to say, it is amazing. If you like LOTR, you will like this game. If you like Diablo, you will still like this game. If you like both, you will REALLY like this game. In this game you can play as Aragorn, Gandalf, Frodo, Eowyn, and Legolas. SPOILERS ON There are two unlockables for multiplayer, but I don’t want to give them away SPOILERS OFF. This game is not at all like The Fellowship of the Ring for GBA, which, in my opinion, was terrible. Very buggy, but I’m not writing a review for that game, I’m writing a review for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for GBA; one of the best handheld games EVER. Anyway, to the review….

Graphics: 10
These graphics are umm… wow! There are no other words to describe them. They are just wow. The characters are shown very clearly and… wowly. The places are so detailed it is amazing. No, they’re more than amazing, they are wowzing. They take clips from the movie that are so clear and crisp. I don’t know how EA did it!

Sound: 10
The sound is just as good as the graphics. You would know how I feel about the graphics if you read that part (and if you didn’t, shame on you for reading out of order!). Most of the songs are straight from the movie. My favorites are the LOTR Theme (you can hear it if you go to the new game screen or beat a boss) and the Moria music.

Controls: 9.8
The controls are easy to remember, easy to use and well, easy. The only thing I don’t like about these controls is the way you change your active skill. You have to press L to keep scrolling through them and you have no way of customizing the order. Other than that, the controls in this game are great and understandable.

Gameplay: 10+
The gameplay in this game is absolutely amazing! There are objectives and you can level up to level 52, which takes quite a while. You can replay the game after finishing as many times as you want. There is almost infinite replay value, you would know that if you read the next section (and shame on you if you are reading out of order, but I said that in the sound section if you read that, and if you didn’t shame on you for reading out of order). All five characters have different styles that you can play, from a magic Gandalf to a Dual-Wielding Aragorn.

Replay Value: Almost infinite

Average: 9.95+

Overall: 9/10 (I don't like to give things a 10/10 because it is an improper fraction that equals 1 and it's like giving a game a 1 as a rating when it deserves a 9 or a 10)

Buy/Rent BUY!! Don’t spend an extra $4 to rent it when you can just buy it. Even if you rent it, you won’t have it long enough to get all this game has to offer so BUY IT!
