"Classic games of thier time but was the effort worth the retranslation on GBA?"

Phantasy Star....Phantasy Star II and Phantasy Star III Generations of Doom.....are the three classic adventures in which this cart is composed of. These games revolutionized RPGs and were considered the best of there time. I am going to warn you that if you love Phantasy Star Online and are expecting this to be like that then change your attitude quikly...

Graphics:5,8,8(One for each game)/10 (GBA standards)
These games are old and well....They Graphics are pretty much like the Sega Counterparts. Phantasy Star has the worst graphics Phantasy Star II inproves on I and III outdoes the out of battle but does not beat the battle graphics of Phantasy sar II.

Music:1,10,2/10
Okay so I may be an idiot but the music wasn't the best out there. The Music is often annoying and the tones are a major turn of to people who hummed like mad to Symphony of the night (If you haven't played that game then your very hurt).The Battle music and music in I is sqeaky to my ears and II has Awesome music. III now don't go there the music SUCKS!

Battle:10/10/0!/10
God, Phantasy Star had a totally from the heros eyes view of battle that was cool to experience. Phantasy Star II was the best in the fact that it actually used Battle sprites and showed your people on screen. Phantasy Star III is a jumbled mess in Battle. I don't even want to bother with III but you choose a command and the music changes.

Story:5,5,5/10
The Stories are hard to follow if you do not pay attention to every little detail. I'm not too incredebly far but from what I can see I should be saying ''What story'' right about now. Sorry I can't help too great here :(

Controls 10/10/10
The controls are good and do not mess up as far as I have seen.The Animations happen when you press the button which is very nice for once.

Overall:8,8,8/10
This is a good game but with flaws and issues and little story it just didn't hit me as that great. There are better RPGs and I'm by no means calling this bad but I say get Golden Sun or Golden Sun II The Lost Age.

Rent or Buy?
I would rent it first if you could to see if you like it and then if you can find it (like I did) for 20 bucks then go ahead and grab it. This is purly up to you and I am just giving my piece of mind.
