Donkey Kong Country

"The good old days are back once again!"

Many people say this game isn't worth getting because it has had too many previous versions. It is true it has but this one almost looks exactly as the original did in graphics.

The graphics are much better than the previous versions because this one has little extra bits like better resolution so things are not as blurry. It also has animals that move around in the levels like foxes, birds, and other kinds of animals which makes Donkey Kong country have more of a country feel to it. A great improvement is there is new sprite movements and some of the same old looking enemy's have been changed or made a different color. It is also a nice touch for their finally being bonus barrels.

The sound is somewhat disappointing. The sounds are different from the original and the music has been remixed. While some of the sounds are a good change some of it is a bad idea. The music being remixed isn't a good thing because the game isn't the same without those catchy toons you remembered the last time you played it.

The game play has gotten much better. Now there is scrapbook pieces to collect, plus beefed up bosses, a high score board, mini games and the same good game play which what made the original Donkey Kong Country such a good game too play.

The story isn't that good it is the same as the original your banana hoard has been stolen by King K Krool and you have to get it back.

It is quite easy to beat this game it doesn't take too long to beat it. The things that make this game not completely easy is the bosses and if you try and complete this game too it's fullest that means getting a perfect score on all levels, finding all scrapbook pieces, and all of the bonuses. This game can keep you playing for a long time if you are interested in doing all of that stuff.

The re playability in this game is amazing it is just so much fun to do these long and fantastic looking levels over and over again and try to get everything in this game possible which is quite a challenge. Plus you can compete with other people and see who has better scores on other levels and you can play mini games with people too!

If you were thinking of buying or renting this I highly recommend you buying this. It has great graphics, great sound and music, and lots of re playability. You most likely will not regret it if you buy this awesome game! It is a classic you don't want to miss out on!
