Spyro: Season of Ice

"This game didn't do it for me."

This game is nothing compared to the playstation games that I own. I was expecting something good that has the same magic the 3d spyro games has. But this just left me with nothing.

Graphics

This game came out pretty well in graphics I thought seeing the 3D spyro before entering a level was cool. But the actual graphics could have been on a NES. Seriously. The graphics were not that good at all.

Game Play

This game absolutely sucks in game play there is hardly any enemy's in a level at all. You might see like enemy's in a level (not kidding). This game is basically about collecting a bunch of rupees and breaking pots and boxes. It is also extremely frustrating that you can fall off of the ledge so easily. Plus when you do die it starts you right from the very beginning it's sick. Also you can't tell if you are going to make a jump or a glide it is almost impossible to tell. The worst thing is you don't know where the hell you are going because everything looks the same and sometimes it takes me 15 minutes to actually find a portal. This game is basically a puzzle game and nothing more. It is sad really.

Sound

Ugh. The sound in this game is horrible the only thing that sounds like the playstation version is when spyro uses his flame. What kills me the most is the music it is not catchy at all and the tunes always sound the same. This game has the worst music I have ever heard in a videogame, it is downright pathetic and extremely annoying.

Controls

Oh my god please don't make me talk about the controls! It is an absolute torture to use them. The button placements are fine and all nothing wrong with that. The problem is they are way to sensitive and it is hard to keep from falling off the edge.

Re playability

I honestly don't know about the Re playability because I didn't even get through the first world because it is so frustrating but from what I could say about the 3D spyro games they have great replay value.

To buy or to rent?

Don't buy don't rent. I rented this pathetic excuse for a game and it is horrible I was really expecting more from spyro.
