Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel

Review by flame scorpion

"The 2nd best Yu-Gi-Oh! game out there (can't beat DDM)!"

Yu-gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the destined duel is practically based in Battle city besides the fact it isn't one huge tournament, it's a bunch of small ones. And with over 1000 cards, it is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! card game yet (much better than duelist of the roses).
Graphics: 5
There isn't really much graphics at all: Just card Graphics and duelist animations. No fighting animations, Nothing Special. Just the essentials. I'm not into graphics so I don't care about animation, and besides, it's a card game anyway!
Game play: 10
In World Wide Edition, you need a lot of quick thinking and strategy and I like that. It actually makes me think before I do things. Also, there are plenty of cards so you don't get bored obtaining cards. One setback though is you play with tributes and I hate that but i got used to that. Overall, It has good game play if you have a sense of strategy.
Sounds and audio: 9
There is one reason why I gave it a 9 mainly. Because That music is stuck in my head so it must be good! Also another reason would be that the music gets me in rhythm with the game. But It would be better with actual music made by artists like MSI and Twiztid. The sound don't madder much in this case there isn't much need for effects.
Storyline: 7
Storyline don't madder much to me as long as I have something to follow. This is just basically about a striving duelist (you) trying to get to the top in battle city by beating the greats. Also you want to beat the evil gang of card thieves known as the Ghouls. The story does enough for me but probably not for most other people.
Replay ability: 10
It actually is pretty simple why I gave this a 10 because really the game don't have an end, you just keep dueling over and over until you get sick of it and I know I never will.
Buy or rent: I would recommend renting or borrowing first and if your interested or you want to be an elite duelist, then buy it. Don't buy it right away because you might be like my cousin (dull as a rock) and say it is stupid but if your into Yu-Gi-Oh! and you hear good about this give it a shot.
Lets review the stats:
Graphics: 5
Game play: 10
sound: 9
Story: 7
Replay: 10
41/50
Hope you find this useful!
